This is the largest style collection on Recasely — every style is generated live from real Unicode code points, not images or custom fonts, so the output pastes correctly into any text field that supports Unicode: social bios, chat apps, documents, and more. The styles fall into a few families: mathematical alphanumeric sets originally designed for notation (Script, Fraktur, Double-Struck, Sans-Serif, Bold, and their combinations); enclosed sets (Circled, Squared, Parenthesized); decorative wrappers that add emoji or symbol borders around your text (Sparkle, Heart, Star Dust, and others); single combining-mark effects that decorate every character (Underline, Overline, Long Slash, Diaeresis, and more); and playful "lookalike" scripts that borrow visually similar characters from unrelated writing systems, like Cherokee, Runes, or Yi syllables, to create an unfamiliar look (Eastern, Ancient, Wiggly, Crossed, Cutout, UFO, and others).
How do I find a specific style?
With 65+ styles in the list, use the filter box above the results to narrow them down. Type part of a style name — such as "bold," "script," or "heart" — and the list updates to show only the matching rows. Clear the box to see every style again.
Why do some characters not convert?
Most of these styles only define replacements for the Latin alphabet (A–Z, a–z) and digits (0–9). Punctuation, spaces in some styles, and non-Latin scripts are outside the style's coverage and pass through unchanged. A few styles handle spaces differently from the rest — for example, the Upside Down style here converts a space to an EM SPACE rather than leaving it untouched, and every one of the combining-mark styles (Underline, Long Slash, and the rest) still adds its mark after a space character, unlike the standalone Slash Text Generator, which skips spaces entirely. These are genuine differences between tools, not inconsistencies in this implementation — each was verified independently against its own reference behavior.
Do Mirror and Upside Down reverse my text here?
No. In this converter, Mirror and Upside Down swap each character for its mirrored or inverted lookalike in place, without reversing the order of the text. That's different from the standalone Mirror Text Generator and Upside Down Text Generator, which both reverse character order in addition to swapping each glyph — useful if you want text that reads correctly when flipped, rather than a per-character stylistic effect.
Will this text work everywhere I paste it?
Yes, as long as the destination renders Unicode, which covers virtually every modern platform. Coverage for less common blocks (like the lookalike-script styles) can vary slightly by device font, so if a character shows as a blank box, try a different style — font support for rarer Unicode ranges isn't universal on every system.
