Recasely ("we," "us," "our") provides free, browser-based text tools at recasely.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, and — just as importantly — what we don't collect.
The short version
Every text tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. When you type or paste text into a tool, that text is processed on your own device using JavaScript — it is never sent to our servers, stored by us, or seen by us. There are no user accounts, no sign-ups, and no way for us to identify what you've typed into any tool.
Information we collect
Server and hosting logs
Like virtually every website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information for every page request — your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time of the request. This is standard web server behavior used for security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing outages. We do not combine this data with anything you type into a tool, because that data never reaches our servers in the first place.
Text you type into a tool
Not collected. Text entered into any converter, generator, or analysis tool on this site stays in your browser's memory for the duration of your visit and is discarded when you close or navigate away from the page. We have no database of user-submitted text.
Cookies and local storage
Recasely does not currently set cookies or use browser local storage to track you across visits or sites. If that changes — for example, if we add optional features that require remembering a preference on your device — we will update this policy to describe exactly what's stored and why.
Third-party services
This site loads web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) so that pages render with consistent typography. Loading a font from Google's servers means your browser makes a request to Google, which may log standard request information (such as your IP address) under Google's own privacy policy. We don't control what Google does with that request.
This site may display advertising in the future to support free access to the tools. If and when advertising is enabled, the ad provider (such as Google AdSense) may use cookies or similar technology to serve relevant ads and measure performance, in accordance with that provider's own privacy policy. We will update this section with specifics before any advertising goes live.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the tools don't collect personal information from any user in the first place, this is largely academic — but we state it for clarity.
Your rights
Because we don't collect or store the text you enter into our tools, and don't maintain user accounts, there is generally no personal data of yours for us to access, export, or delete on request. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes — for example, if we add analytics, advertising, or new features. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
